Google has just presented its new Pixel 4, one of the reference devices of Android this year and the one that can best compete with Apple and its iPhone 11. Although Google has not taken such important steps as Apple, for example they do not manufacture their own processors , it is true that it is the only brand that can approach the control that Apple has of the software and hardware .
The new Pixel 4 has just been revealed, although practically everything about it was already known . We have two models, one normal and one larger, so they have not followed the strategy of 3 Apple models.

Design and colors
In recent years the design of most high-end smartphones has been settling and almost all brands opt for the same materials: glass and metal . It is the case of both devices, both the iPhone 11 Pro and the Google Pixel 4 have these two materials. Apple has opted to use stainless steel on its iPhone 11 Pro, while Google is still betting on aluminum in the Pixel 4.
For the rest, these are two devices that are more similar in the back than in the front. Google has followed Apple's trail and its new Pixel 4 uses a square module to house the two rear cameras . It does it in a similar way to what we saw in the first renderings of the iPhone 11. Apple for its part has highlighted the cameras above all and we have the 3 sensors clearly visible in a module also square.
In the front is where we find a major difference since Google appears to have returned to the past forgetting the notch and devices without frames . We have a very pronounced top frame in which different sensors are housed, including their own Face ID. Apple has continued betting on the notch, since for the moment it is the only way to place the sensors in charge of its facial recognition.
As for the colors, Apple has bet on the iPhone 11 for Space Gray, Silver, Gold and the new Green Night . Google for its part bets on black and white to which a new orange tone joins. Of course, Apple has opted for a matte texture and Google for a bright glass.
Cameras
It is the main function of the new iPhone Pro and probably also of the new Pixel 4, it is very possible that we are facing the two best devices on the market in terms of their photographic appearance . Apple has included a new camera system with three sensors and the Pixel 4 arrives with two rear cameras .

Both devices use an OLED screen, in the case of the iPhone 11 Pro 5.8 inches and 5.7 inches on the Pixel 4. Although the larger models are available in 6.5 and 6.3 inches respectively. The iPhone screen has been named the best in the market , however Google has just assured that its new device has taken that position away.
The main difference of the Pixel 4 screen compared to that of the iPhone 11 Pro is the refresh rate, 60 Hz on the iPhone for the 90 Hz of the Pixel . In addition, Google has introduced its own True Tone and the screen will change its warmth depending on the conditions and has called this technology Ambient EQ.
Facial recognition
Two years have passed since Apple introduced Face ID on the iPhone X , a system that is now faster than ever and has better viewing angles. It is practically the perfect system. It seems that Google has been working hard in recent years and have achieved a similar technology capable of performing a facial recognition at the height of Face ID , although we will have to wait for the tests to check it.
Power
Apple is exceeded every year and the new A13 Bionic processor is an example of this.If the A12 Bionic chip already had incredible power, Apple's new processor achieves better results, up to 40% more according to Apple , being more energy efficient.
Google however has not even opted for the most powerful Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 855+, has been left with the unimproved version of the processor company.It is true that the Pixel 4 will not lack power, but the differences with the iPhone 11 Pro are considerable.
Drums
One of the great improvements of the iPhone 11 this year, the iPhone 11 Pro has a range of up to 4 hours more than last year's model, which is about 18 hours playing video .Apple has always achieved similar performance to Android with lower capacity batteries, in the case of the iPhone 11 Pro we have a 3,046 mAh battery.
For its part, Google has included in its Pixel 4 a battery of 2,800 mAh that may be somewhat fair , as we have said Android is usually a less energy efficient system and the Pixel 4 has less battery capacity than the iPhone 11, we will have to wait to the first tests but in this aspect the iPhone 11 Pro seems far ahead.
