Whatsapp for iPad: all the news

Many of the people who come to iOS, and specifically those who buy an iPad for the first time, wonder why there is no official app for WhatsApp , the popular messaging application. Even when I released my first iPad I took that disappointment thinking that yes I could use WhatsApp on my new tablet.

And it is that 8 years after the sale of the iPad , and with an application that works since 2009, already 10 years, developers have not wanted to launch it for iPad , while Telegram has been enjoyed for years and with an optimal functioning.

Well, it seems that there is movement, or at least, rumors. From the WABetaInfo website, and more specifically from its Telegram channel , it has been reported that the application for the Apple tablet may be being prepared.

The message announcing it does so in the following terms: " New details are finally available on WhatsApp for iPad. It will be a redesigned WhatsApp application that will work thanks to WhatsApp Web ... yes, to use WhatsApp on your iPad you will need an active Internet connection on your main device . "

The truth is that it is partly a small step, because having an application that needs to be active and close to your iPhone , because it is not something to shoot. Anyway, and we insist that it is a rumor, it may be the beginning of something new.

WhatsApp is owned by Facebook permanently since October 2014, which bought it by the dizzying figure of 21,800 million dollars . It has more than 1,000 million active users worldwide and since it is owned by the company Zuckerberg has been introducing improvements such as the use of VoIP and video calls .
