Apple anticipates Android in the Australian market in the last quarter of 2016

In recent years, Android has been consolidating its leadership in the vast majority of markets in which it is present. And is that, although it is not the safest operating system in the world, nor the fastest or the most intuitive, it is the most accessible and open.

The "victory" of Android over iOS, is based only on the first, is available on all types of devices . From phones like the Samsung Galaxy S7, able to face the iPhone, to others like the Nokia 3, made so that all the public can acquire a smartphone. All of them, work with Android.

On the contrary, Apple continues and will continue betting on a strategy in which the differentiating factor against other bets is the closing of the platform, in the sense that only Apple has the power to decide which way will follow in the next years. This of course has made iOS a product aimed at somewhat more demanding audiences, since it is the only operating system that works in perfect harmony with the hardware that uses it when sharing the creator.

Apple takes first place in Australia

Despite all this, there are still markets where the battle between Android and iOS remains latent, and one of them, is Australia. This country, it seemed to maintain an interesting balance, but now, the tables have begun to change in favor of Apple . In this case, we have a market share of 54.9% for iPhone, driven by sales of the iPhone 7, compared to 44.6% for Android according to IDC Australia sources.

This makes it very clear that many countries are still relying on Apple's good work , and will not be fooled by Google's attempts to become the successor to apple bite. At least not for now.
