Apple has not yet officially released the iPhone in July and already hear occasionally of the next generation will happen to this smartphone. Without going any further, on Monday a report saying that Apple will be using silver nanowires, a technology that is being prepared by TPK, provider company behind 3D Touch was published.
Thanks to the silver nanowires, the iPhone screen could be flexible enough to survive a fall. And although they do not speak of a particular model, rumors say that if it is true that the first model would have the flexible display of nanowires would be the iPhone launched in 2017.
But it does not stop there, because Samsung has also secured a patent for a smartphone very different from what we're used to seeing, and that is a foldable smartphone. As you can see, the two great rivals in the smartphone market companies have been stepping up to give a 180 degree turn and surprise users.

agNW or silver nano-wire will replace the more expensive rare-earth minerals that are brittle. In 2010, cell phones alone consumed 1.5% of all the silver mined worldwide on a yearly basis. This amount raised since 2016 as the number of cell phones increased. Silver mining output has also dropped.
