Gmail adds the ability to cancel sending an email



Who has not happened on occasion that has sent an email to the wrong person? Sometimes by an oversight we send an email to a recipient who did not want to, with the consequences that entails. Google has found a solution to this "problem" and now gives us the opportunity to fix our mistake with the "Undo Send" . This new feature is not exclusive only on the desktop browser version it is also available on iOS and Android and, of course, will be very well received by all users of Gmail.

In a way this new feature takes time available in beta versions, but now when it comes to other users and when it is available from the options of mail . At last we will be able to intervene in sending an email that has left our tray addressed to a recipient who does not want or information not we want to see someone in particular.


To use this new feature in Gmail you should activate the options of both the browser version, as in the application options of iOS or Android, and where we will be choose different time intervals with a maximum of 30 seconds to undo the sending of an email by mistake or oversight. By having the option enabled you can undo the sending of an email by clicking on the "undo" button at the bottom of the screen. Clicking on the button sending will be canceled and can edit the email again, change the recipients or delete it if you wish.

As I said at the beginning, this new feature is not unique to the Web version of Gmail, it is also available for Android and iOS application.
