Apple patent a stylus or pen Intelligent

  • Apple gets a new patent smartpen.
  • The stylus would be able to convert written text freehand digitally.
  • Could we see this device at the rumored iPad Pro?

Apple recently announced that the Patent and Trademark United States has granted a new related smart stylus or pen to be able to write and draw with great precision. Recently I talked about a new patent for a technology that would allow the iPhone or iPad into a remote display for playing content from a device like the iMac or Apple TV.

If you give a tour of our section you will see how in recent months Apple has continued getting all kinds numerous patents related to mobile screens, more features to the Touch ID and more.

This new patent from Apple called "Communicating Stylus", something like stylus communication. It is not the first recorded document concerning intelligent in the Office of the United States pencil, but this time has the peculiarity that uses multiple sensors to greatly improve accuracy.

¿Apple will integrate this smart pen on future generations of iPad?

The patent "Communicating Stylus" reflects a technology based on an idea that is not new in the market because companies like Livesribe has already launched its proposal smartpen with similar optical characteristics. The model registered by Apple is based on the integration various sensors such as motion detector, accelerometer and other components needed for wireless connection to transfer notes and drawings.

In the description of the patent, Apple notes that this is a stylus capable of converting to digital format text written freehand when connected to a smartphone, tablet or any device "digital computers". The patent details the pen is activated by several accelerometers pressing motion detection on a writing surface or simply by turning manually.

Stylus sensors would be able to detect a 3D plane

By motion sensors included in the stylus, this would be able to detect a plane in 3D, as noted in the patent. The stylus uses an initial zero and would monitor real-time changes in position from the origin to transmit the movement and flow of writing.

From AppleInsider notes that this technology is also used to write information on a real surface would simply be necessary to write notes in the air to transmit that data to the mobile device. The patent even details a number of ways in which users can choose how to transmit the data.

Finally, note that there are many practical solutions for the new Apple patent. The stylus allow the user to view his writing on different screens, one possible solution for business meetings and classrooms.

The patent is not exactly new, since if we look back we see in January 2010 Apple filed a related smart pen. This leads us to believe that the Cupertino are really interested in continuing to work in an accessory like this and could see it become reality in the not too distant future, perhaps the rumored iPad Pro, which is expected to arrive sometime in 2015 .

How about Apple released a stylus as well? Could you come accompanying the iPad Pro 2015?
