Office for iPad is updated with support for AirPrint to print wirelessly
Microsoft wants to keep gaining users in its recently released version of Office for iPad. Therefore, the company has released a new update for the popular office application which introduces some very interesting improvements in creating presentations and spreadsheets , but especially in terms of connectivity and Office now supports AirPrint technology Apple.

For those who do not know what the technology AirPrint is a feature found in iOS for a couple of generations ago and that allows the user to print any file or photograph completely wirelessly from the place in which found. Of course, it is also necessary to have a printer that supports this technology, although almost all the latest printer models and incorporate it.

"Now you can print Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and Power Point presentations through an AirPrint printer. In Word for iPad, you can choose to print a document with or without labeling. More good news about the inclusion of this feature is that it is available without subscription to Office 365 service . As we can see, Microsoft aims to reach a lot of iPad users who need office solutions.

The new update includes smart guides to align different objects more easily
Other new features of this update are smart guides and self-adjust function. With Smart Guides can we align the different objects and images we have in our Power Point slide . The rule appears on object boundaries allow us to accurately place very easily.

 

As shown in the Office Blog , autofit function is intended to make life somewhat easier for Excel users. Now you can adjust the width and height of multiple rows and columns at the same time , so it wins on comfort and productivity in the long run by not having to set them individually.
