For some weeks now the rumors seem to be clear: Apple is going to present new devices in March , including a new iPhone SE 2 or iPhone 9. We were not sure if this device was going to be launched using a press release or in your own keynote , but now a new rumor suggests that this event already has a date set in the calendar.
According to German media iPhone-Ticker , Apple is planning to hold a keynote on March 31 . In his report the media cites "sources directly related to Apple" and says that the event "will take place at the end of March." Looking at the calendar, they have understood that the most likely date is Tuesday, March 31.
A new keynote in the month of March
It is not strange that Apple has an event in the month of March, in fact if it is realized it would be the third consecutive year in which we see a keynote in the third month of the year . Last year, Apple held an event on Tuesday, March 25 dedicated to presenting services such as Apple TV +, Apple Card or Apple Arcade. A year earlier, in 2018, Apple held an event on Tuesday, March 27, focused on education and the new iPad.
There are many devices that we expect in case Apple holds an event:
- iPhone 9 or iPhone SE 2.
- New iPad Pro.
- AirTag locator device.
- A small wireless charging base.
- New 13-inch MacBook Pro.
- 'AirPods Studio', or new headband headphones.
These are the devices that Apple is expected to launch earlier this year and could be shown in this keynote on March 31. They will probably be accompanied by the final version of iOS 13.4 , which would be the one that would launch the new iPhone 9 or iPad Pro that same week, Friday, April 4.
