AnandTech analyzes the A13 Bionic processor of the iPhone 11 and concludes that it doubles the best Android in power

AnandTech has thoroughly analyzed the performance of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro, and the results could not have been better for Apple. It turns out that its performance is far superior to any Android smartphone.

Since Apple already commented that the A13 Bionic processor of its iPhone 11, its iPhone 11 Pro and its iPhone 11 Pro Max would be 20% faster than the A12 processor of previous generation smartphones, data confirmed today by AnandTech

During their tests, AnandTech not only discovered that the new processor is 20% faster than the previous generation, but also doubles the most powerful Android smartphone in power.

The performance of the new A13 Bionic processor
Apple has increased its processor's peak power compared to the A12 Bionic chip . At the performance level, in this sense the iPhone 11 processor is 1 W above the A12 chip. This leads us to have a little less energy efficiency, and could even make the iPhone 11 a little more sensitive to raise its temperature and suffer lag.

"IN TERMS OF ENERGY AND EFFICIENCY, THE A13 PROCESSOR DIDN'T SEEM TO BE A VERY SUCCESSFUL ITERATION FOR APPLE."

On the other hand, from AnandTech they assure that there is no competition for the iPhone 11 and its processor in the current market. In fact, the A13 Bionic chip matches what AMD and Intel offer on desktop computers.

“THE A13 IS EXTREMELY FAST. IN THE MOBILE SPACE, THERE IS REALLY NO COMPETITION SINCE THE A13 ALMOST DOUBLES THE PERFORMANCE OF THE BEST NON-APPLE SOC. ”

Since AnandTech have also talked about the screen, battery and cameras of the new Apple smartphones, you can read here its full review.
