AirPlay 2 was launched yesterday along with the update to iOS 11.4 . This is a great novelty that includes improvements such as the ability to play a song on several speakers at once . Even that it is synchronized to offer a perfect experience.
This is an Apple protocol that is open to developers, so any manufacturer can include it in their speakers . Apple has teamed up with a large number of brands, but all are companies that manufacture high-end speakers. So the price will not be cheap.

After the departure of official AirPlay 2 thanks to the update of iOS 11.4, Apple has published on its website the complete list of compatible devices with its new wireless protocol headed by the HomePod. As we can see, it is a long list, but all brands produce high-end speakers . Most have announced their compatibility, so you'll have to wait for a software update to enjoy AirPlay 2.
The cheapest option on the list is the Sonos One , which can be purchased for around 200 euros. They are not cheap options, but we may see other more affordable options over time. Perhaps the rumored HomePod cheap .
