Hunt Pokémon GO zombies with the new game of The Walking Dead

Mind you, we will have a new game soon that will go one step further. The Walking Dead: Our World, the next mobile launch will be an experience based on augmented reality and location , similar to Pokémon Go, just much more horrifying. AMC says the game "will allow players to fully immerse themselves in the action of the successful TV show by mixing digital objects such as characters and other elements of the game with the players ' own environment ."

Like the first trailer of Pokémon Go, the first video of this release seems to be largely ambitious, and has no direct game. Instead, it shows players fighting the undead in places like a convenience store and a hospital, defending them from everything from guns and grenades to what looks like Michonne's sword. There are also virtual versions of some of the most popular characters in the series, including Rick, Daryl, and Michonne, who will provide help in battle.

The Walking Dead: Our World is being developed by Finnish studio Next Games, the same team behind the mobile strategy game The Man Walking: No Man's Land, which according to the developer has been downloaded more than 16 million times . Apple also showed off today as part of its new Augmented Reality Applications and Slates game.

" Fans love how the show encourages them to ask, 'What would I do in a zombie apocalypse?', And in this game we're aiming for players to explore this hypothesis in a way they've never experienced before, " said the CEO Teemu Huuhtanen said in a statement. " AR allows players to live the fight for survival in a totally new way in their family environment ."

Pokémon Go has been a big hit in its first year of availability, and _Our World: seems to be going to follow in the footsteps of the Niantic game . Although if players gravitate to the much more serious and lugubrious nature of zombies, it is certainly something that does not have much to do with hunting Pokémon.

No release date yet, but this new game will hit iOS soon and here we are to tell you. What do you think about the idea? Is it appealing to you? We are looking forward to hearing from you, so we look forward to your comments and in the next post, see you soon!
