The Huawei Nova Lite 2017 has just been introduced. At first glance, the device seems to be an updated version of last year's mid-range and we all know it as Huawei Nova Lite . But things are not like that. The Nova Lite 2017 from Huawei is a handset with quite powerful hardware and a high quality metal design.
The terminal has photo features with good specifications. We have a 13 megapixel main camera that is equipped with an autofocus phase detection (PDAF).
The way the camera's main sensor is aligned and the LED flash gives the impression of having a dual camera, but none of this. The front camera incorporates a sensor of 5 megapixels and a system of "Beauty" for the capture of selfies.
The new Nova Lite 2017 has a gorgeous metallic design with a thin design of 8 millimeters, a non-removable battery with 3000mAh that should give a good autonomy. If the phone is used normally (call, mail, pictures and other activities that do not consume energy), the battery provides up to 2 days of autonomy, which is not bad at all, as we say.
The Huawei Nova Lite 2017 has internal hardware that is quite efficient for a device in 2017. The 'heart' of the smartphone is the Snapdragon 425 to 1.4GHz quad-core processor. The strengths of this processor are the low power consumption and the 4G LTE connectivity it provides.
For multitasking and data storage we have the most typical market combination for the midrange, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. We miss the 32 GB of storage since all other features deserve it.
The Chinese manufacturer assembles a standard "standard" display for such a terminal. It is deci, 5 inches, IPS type LCD and HD resolution. screen features a feature that the manufacturer highlights as "eye protection mode", this protects the view of the user by reducing the intensity of blue light emitted by the LCD panel
The screen looks good regardless of the angle from which it is viewed. The front is made of 2.5D glass and the back of the metal only has the horizontal lines intended for the antennas that break the uniformity of it.
We are pleased that Huawei has decided to put a fingerprint reader in this terminal. The scanner identifies the fingerprint in any of the angles that we put the finger and unlocks the phone instantly, 0.3 seconds.
The Huawei Nova Lite 2017 is an elegant terminal with very good entry-level features. Unfortunately, the price of 204 dollars is quite high. Let's hope the device reaches Europe at a more affordable price, maximum 150 euros.
