Pokemon GO special events will be delayed for a few days

Last week Niantic held the world's first Pokémon GO event in Chicago. Unfortunately, the application had serious technical problems related to a collapse of its servers and a malfunction of its Internet connection.

Although Niantic assured that the events would run their course as planned, the company has now mentioned that events in Europe will be delayed a few days .

Pokémon GO special events scheduled for August 5 in Prague and Copenhagen will be postponed a few days, as will the events of Stockholm and Amsterdam on August 12.

Niantic wants to offer the best possible experience to players in Europe

For now, according to Niantic, the August 14 Pikachu event in Japan will continue as scheduled , as will the rest of future events in France, Spain and Germany.

The company has explained that it has made the decision to delay these special events in order to improve the gaming experience to its users in Europe.

"In order to ensure the best possible gaming experience for European coaches, we have decided to postpone events in Europe scheduled for August 5 (Copenhagen and Prague) and for August 12 (Stockholm and Amsterdam) to one Later date in autumn. "

The planned Pokémon GO event in Spain will take place on September 16 in Barcelona . The event is called Pokémon GO Safari, it will gather fans of Pokémon GO and will be able to capture creatures that are only available in other parts of the world.

During the Pokémon GO event in Chicago, many users were unable to access the game's features due to a collapse in the servers on their system. That is why we think that Niantic has made the right decision to not have more problems like this in future events.
