NFCWriter, the tweak that allows you to release the NFC capabilities of your iPhone, reaches Cydia

For a few weeks we have been following NFCWriter , a tweak developed by Elias Limneos that allows to release the NFC capabilities of any iPhone compatible with that technology.

Well, as expected, the tweak has just reached Cydia , thus advancing in a way to iOS 11, as you know, one of its features is to allow the free use of NFC technology.

Once installed, the tweak allows the following features:

  • Read NFC tags
  • Write NFC tags
  • Save and manage all your NFC tags in one place
  • Perform actions based on content previously saved in NFC tags
  • Read and write NDEF messages
  • Show detailed tag details: Serial number, manufacturer, type ...
  • Emulate NFC devices (Limited use at the moment)

In this way, we can use the capabilities of NFC technology in our iPhone as if an Android device was a fairly simple, fast and effective.

Of course, not all devices are compatible with NFCWriter, as it is logical, only iPhone models that have an NFC chip can make use of it:

  • IPhone 6 (Limneos is working on adding compatibility)
  • IPhone 6 Plus (Limneos is working on adding compatibility)
  • IPhone SE
  • IPhone 6s
  • IPhone 6s Plus
  • IPhone 7
  • IPhone 7 Plus

For the rest, it is important to keep in mind that at the moment it is only compatible with iOS 10 , although Limneos has already announced that it is working on adding support for iOS 9.

  • Name : NFCWriter
  • Compatibility : iOS 10
  • Price : $ 3.99
  • Repository : BigBoss
